This area offers amazing scenery, numerous islands to explore and camp on free of charge, additional birding opportunities, many different fish species, slow to moderate moving water with occasional small rapids (class I & II), stop and take your picture with the local landmark Lady Liberty on the Susquehanna, and pass under the Rockville Bridge, the longest stone masonry arch railroad viaduct ever built, at 3,820 feet.

Travel further down and enjoy the skyline views of downtown Harrisburg complete with the Pennsylvania State Capital Complex. Paddle around City Island and cheer on the Harrisburg Senators.
